My Shoe Collection

Collector's Story

"This is my shoe collection. Although technically I started my shoe collection in university first year, the first shoe in my collection was bought in year 11 of high school. I will go into more detail about this shoe in its description.

In this collection I go into my reasoning for choosing certain shoes and what they say about myself. By doing so I want to show that a person’s shoes can be attributed to their personality and has a story behind them. The shoe I dream about purchasing next is the Nike Dunk Low."

Nike Air Force Just Do It

This shoe is very special to me, as it was my very first sneaker purchase and therefore the reason I started shoe collecting. It took me a while to purchase this shoe, since I was saving up birthday money to pay for it because I didn’t have a job during high school.

Converse-Print

This shoe was bought for my 16th before I was into collecting shoes. At first, I didn’t like this shoe however, now I appreciate its classic nature and clean look. I actually wear this shoe almost daily for day-to-day activities such as shopping because they aren’t too expensive, and I am not afraid to get them a little dirty.

Nike Air Jordan Zoom Pumpkin Spice

This was the first sneaker I bought with my own money after I got my first job. I admit I was a bit rash in purchasing this shoe and I do kind of regret it because it is suede leather instead of genuine leather, but I still appreciate this shoe quite a bit.

Nike Air Presto

This sneaker was the first shoe which I thought looked good. I first saw this shoe in year 7 and I immediately wanted to buy it, however I only ended up buying it after high school.

Puma Ignite

This shoe I purchased for summer sporting activities because it is white, and so I can do running and go to the gym in them without feeling too warm. However, I don’t like that they can easily get discoloured compared to leather shoes, so this is especially why I wear them in summer.

Nike Air Force Black Swoosh

This sneaker I bought because one of my favourite types of shoes is air forces. I liked this air force because it was clean with minimal stickers unlike the just do it air forces.

Adidas Ultraboost 2.0

This shoe is probably my most comfortable sneaker that I have purchased. I bought this shoe as a shoe that I could wear in winter when it is rainy, for runs and gym training. This shoe is also very interesting because the material used for making it is environmentally friendly, as specified by Adidas.

Nike Air Jordan Mid Bred Toe

This is my favourite Air Jordan that I have. This is genuine leather unlike the zoom Air Jordan which has suede leather, which is why I like this version better. I look to buying more air Jordans as well because like Nike Dunks they have so many colour wheels that look good.
